TypeHey Privacy Policy

This policy explains what TypeHey collects, why, who processes it, and how to delete all of it. We run no ads, do not track you, and never sell your data.
1. What we collect

We do not collect contacts, location, photos, calendars, health data or advertising identifiers. The apps contain no third-party ads or analytics SDKs and do no cross-app tracking. We never sell your data.
2. Device permissions
- Microphone: recording happens only while you hold the shortcut or the mic button.
- Accessibility on Mac: used to detect your shortcut and to type text at the cursor. We only check whether the shortcut was pressed; we do not record other keys or anything you type.
- Full Access for the TypeHey keyboard on iPhone / iPad: used only to pass the recording state and results between the keyboard and the TypeHey app. The keyboard never records or uploads anything you type with it.
3. Where data goes and who processes it
To provide the service, data passes through the providers below. They process it only on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS / WSS.

If you use TypeHey outside mainland China, your voice and text are processed in mainland China or Singapore and discarded right after.
4. How long we keep it
- Voice and recognized text: not stored; discarded right after processing.
- Account info, usage and personal vocabulary: kept until you delete your account.
- Purchase records: kept as required by accounting and tax law. After you delete your account they can no longer be linked to you.
- SMS codes: expire within minutes.
5. How to delete all your data
In TypeHey on iPhone / iPad, go to Me → Delete Account, or email support@qinaxis.cn. We delete your account (phone, email, name, sign-in methods), usage history, personal vocabulary and other records about you. This cannot be undone.
Deleting your account stops renewals of subscriptions bought on our website. Subscriptions bought in the App Store are managed by Apple; cancel them in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Most of this can be done in the app; contact us for anything else.
7. Children
TypeHey is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will let you know in the app and update the date at the top of this page.
